This plane has been remastered:

The F-5E Tiger II - America's answer to the light fighters of the 60s

Upvotes are appreciated!

Actions:

AG3 - Arrestor Wire
AG4 - Chute
Pylon selection left - Activate Aim-9G L
Pylon selection right - Activate Aim-9G R
Pylon selection middle - Drop fuel tank
Combat slats - Automatically deploys in a turn

The F-5 was created in the 1950s as a supersonic light fighter, holding 2 missiles and other loadout options such as a 30mm cannon. In the 1970s It was upgraded to the much more capable E variant, holding newer missiles and newer avionics.

To preform a carrier landing make sure you drop the fuel tank before.

It should be noted that in real life It could not perform this task, the wire was for land wire systems.
I hope you enjoy my newest project!
See you next time.

The F-8 had more guns on it (a primary purpose compared to the F-5E where most aircraft at this time had guns as secondary)

@ReturnOfJeffChandler I didnt say it was the last gunfighter, I'm well aware the F-8 has the nickname of the last gunfighter, I said the F-5 was one of the last gunfighters

The F-5 is primarily known for how cheap and cost effective it was. Been use by 38 countries.

Ever heard of the F-8 crusader. Primary armament was guns. @Shugie

@ReturnOfJeffChandler It was one of the last fighters that relied on guns as well as missiles, nowadays fighters have BVR missiles, dogfights no longer happen like they used to, the F-5 would use its gun in close range dogfights but these almost never happen now
