Conventional takeoff at Tarpley or Murphy. Full throttle. Testbed launches itself "hands-off" the island! After that, Keep it fairly level -- you'll pass the other island at about 20,000 feet and 9,000 mph! Flying: good pilot can reach 25,000 MPH between 50,000 and 100,000 feet, with luck & fuel. Uncontrolled, it will climb to 400,000 feet. Tested on mobiles using both Hi and Med Physics.

Well, gonna weaponize some models that are a bit slower, so weapons effect can be seen -- on this one, you would see where the weapons went in your rear view mirror!~ @JFP0829

@Nickasaurus Thx! If you get around to copying the main thrusters and applying them to one of you own models, you'll end up with a fast product; next step, how to control it?

@Nickasaurus See reply to @Skua above. Guess a minor goof in my initial instructions.

@Skua Yeah, if I max thrust and never touch controls, I get to 500,000 feet real fast. Gotta "push" the nose down around 25,000 feet before you overfly the other big island. I will modify instructions. The big thing was to achieve "no hands" runway liftoff.

weird, did the same thing for me @skua maybe try different physics settings?

With regards to this actual plane: I tested it out, and I didn't get the levelling out at 28,000 ft - in fact, even when I ran it with 2% throttle, it climbed happily up to 400,00ft before levelling (and then dropping down again, because apparently at that height the air is effectively nonexistent). However, I noticed that you mentioned fuel as being a limiting factor, but it seems to be infinite for me. It starts at 0% and then just works anyway. Has something just gone awry in my download?

Also, props for making something so fast that it occasionally doesn't even get one frame of visibility in fly-by cam

Edit: never mind about the fuel, just found out that it does actually run out

@Delphinus Thx For the vote. I've posted boats that others have copied under the older SP release. None, yet with the new release. What new boat is needed?
