Brief history on the USS Indiana


USS Indiana is one of the first United states battleships and the lead ship of her class.
USS Indiana is a 10,433 ton Pre-Dreadnought battleship originally proposed for coast defense and quickly repurposed for the high seas (note the Indiana class never fared well during storms and heavy/high waves on the high seas, as of Wikipedia 2020) the Indiana Class also pioneered the use of an intermediate Battery.

-end of construction launched February, 28, 1893
-Commissioned November, 20, 1895
USS Indiana had been Decommissioned and recommissioned 2 other times before being renamed Coast battleship Number 1 and being sunk as a target ship she was later sold for scrap

what to do in case of emergency (mainly fires related)


-if a deck fire breaks out: look for the tallest wave and sail into it just hope ya comeback up on the other end
-if an engine fire occurs: get the fire extinguishers and go crazy on the fire
-if a crew member just happens to catch on fire: hook the lifeboat winch line to his belt and get throw him into the ocean pull him out immediately
