AG1: Turn on main engine
AG2: Toggle hyperdrive (instant billions of knots at any throttle)
LandingGear: Toggle stabilization
tutorial:
1: activate AG1 and go full throttle. dont hit anything.
2: turn off landing gear. aim in any direction but down (otherwise youll go in the water and it wont be as cool yknow)
3: when you have your direction set, press AG2. it will instantly boost you to the game's speed cap.
do tell if you find anything faster, but for now this is the fastest i can get this thing to go WITHOUT crashing the game. (yes, it can go much faster, but i have deliberately capped it.)
also, the object itself is an Azalea MK.2

i lied, here is the true fastest objekt in SP
@Zilozite Yeah. I Spotted that for Several Times.
@TitanVector did you know that after you activate this monster and go back to the title screen, the title clouds are broken?
Oh... It's Speed is That High so Even The Texture of Clouds Would Not Work Fine
@Zilozite
Yea
@KorKaiorWhatever 1.5e+10 is good enough for right now i guess
@Zilozite
:(
@KorKaiorWhatever guess snot
@Zilozite
So no sky breaking?
@KorKaiorWhatever i cant seem to get the power as high as i want, idk..
@Zilozite
Also if you point downwards with the burst the sly starts to break
@KorKaiorWhatever it is not registering speed i think im going back to the detacher method
@KorKaiorWhatever also cap is 38 not 98, but still very high
@KorKaiorWhatever i like using an azalea because its enigmatic flight system allows you to sot of float mid-air, so positioning is a very easy task, so crashing isnt a concern. i can go put max power on the engine and upload it now if you want lolz
@Zilozite
The thing woth 1 short burst is the concern that you might not hit max speed, oe crash before doing it
@KorKaiorWhatever cannons also sounds like a good idea... sustained speed over burst speed
@KorKaiorWhatever what im doing is instead of keeping the engine running, i use one quick burst so it doesn't need to spool up at all. this puts it at max power immediately. i like using jet engines more cause theyre easier to deal with.
and Azalea MK-2 is what the object shown on the thumbnail is. just a bit edited.
@Zilozite
Also what is an Azalea Mk-2m
@Zilozite
But still
When you go fast, you inherently will either go high or go low
And once you reach a certain altitude (or go underwater), the engine will stop
So my best bet is using a cannon with a ridiculously high recoil, changing your plane's mass and drag to be zero, and then seeing god
@KorKaiorWhatever you underestimate the power of minimum and maximun input, thats what i did here. set minimum input low and then engine power multiplier to a very high exponent. if i were to set the exponent to like 98 (i think thats the games cap), it would go MUCH faster, like, my current exponent is like 10 so thas a huge huge number
@Zilozite
But that'd mean there are multiple fastest aircraft, as others wpuld've also hit infinity
The biggest problem with jets is that if you get high enough they won't work, and you also won't be able to control your plane
So to actually hit infinity you'll need something like a canon, missile rocket or RCS
@KorKaiorWhatever yea
@Zilozite
So I reached the maximum speed
So mine is the fastest aircraft in SP
@KorKaiorWhatever
you reached the true speed cap, in which the game doesn't know what to do... not rlly infinity but close enough lolz
usually if a game measures way too high of a number, it likes to use zero or infinity as a fallback. what you mightve reaches was a number with an exponent higher than 99, which the game cant process, as you can see if you try to use a number with an exponent higher than 99 in FT code.
@Zilozite
Bro getting held back
(Well it wrote infinity)
