The Flying Wing Challenge

A flying wing, which as the name see it’s a aircraft without a vertical and a tail piece (since simple planes won’t let you fly any aircraft without a yaw control so it just starts to spin) if you don’t know what a flying wing is, you may have heard of; B2 Spirit Bomber, Ho-229 V3, the B-21 Raider. Your goal is to create a flying wing using WW2 era technology (jet engines are allowed but it cannot be too powerful) the point system and restrictions

General Restrictions:
No Air To Air Missiles (duh)
AGM are allowed but they have to glide to the target to some extent (Fritz X or a Hs-293 as an example)
Max build submission of 3

Fighter Restrictions:
Maximum of 4 engines
Cannot go faster then 540+ mph (870+ kph)
Optional payload, rockets, bombs gun pods etc
If using payload max of 4,000lbs (1814kg)
Part limit 800

Bomber restrictions:
No less then 4 engines and more more then 10 engines
Minimal payload of 10,000lbs max of 20,000lbs (4,600kg-9071kg)
Must have at least one turret to defend it self
(Optional; can work)
(Optional; external bombs, backup fighters don’t have to work
Cannot go slower then 310mph (500kph)
Should be able to cross the Atlantic and head back, 4,166 miles (6,706km)
(Using DC to Berlin as scale)
Part limit: 800

Point system:
Detail build; how much detail can be put in within the part limit: 1-100 points
Realism; how realistic would this aircraft be? Points will be removed if unrealistic to an extent.: 1-100
A G-force tracker will be on the build
Meeting requirements; If you meet all requirements and not exceeding anything you’ll get bonus points by .5 per requirement: minimal of .5 and a maximum of 4
Every 1 part you go over you will lose .5 points
Max points of 200, maxim possible points of 204

First place: 10 upvotes or 2 spotlights and 4 upvotes
Second place: 8 upvotes or 2 spotlight and 2 upvotes
Third place: 6 upvotes or 1 spotlight and 2 upvotes
Fourth place and under: 4 upvotes

G-Force indicator is no longer valid for the challenge so you do not have to use it.

Ok with further research done use the G force indicator don’t use it as it’s very very stupid and finicky.

Yes, especially stuff like the Ho 229 (and it’s bomber brother) or some of the experimental bombers during the 50s from america

I am astounded by flying wings, like how does it work, I mean I can make them but it is just weird

@Jetmaker Alright. I put little fins on, though they don't have yaw control. They work just fine

@Everyonelovereal yeah absolutely but since SP has a where mechanic id you don’t have yaw it make the plane uncontrollably which is kind of stupid but oh well.

Just a quick question before I submit, are we allowed to have winglets for yaw stability like some early Flying Wing designs?
