XT-101 Atlas (True Antigrav Edition)

A blast from the past, this ship was the first flying saucer I ever built, but it's since been entirely overhauled, both inside and out. The old propulsion drive has been replaced with FlyingPotato 131's 3-Axis VTOL System (seriously, good work on this setup), and the other visual effects have been reworked around this. The old 'Jetsons' style landing legs have been replaced by a far beefier looking set similar to Mars Attacks' flying saucers. The craft retains its shield system, and the shields can shrug off incoming munitions. The cockpit has been overhauled, and instruments will give visual information regarding thruster output, as well as digital readouts. A new addition to the XT-101 is a full 360 autotargeting laser that locks onto targets regardless of the craft's orientation.

LandingGear: Toggle Gyroscopic Assistance & Raise/Lower Landing Gear (if requirements are met)

AG1: Turbo

AG2: Toggle Laser

AG3: Toggle Shields

AG4: Toggle Navigation Lights

AG8: Toggle Main Power

Additional Notes:

  • Credit where credit is due, this flight control system was originally designed by FlyingPotato_131.

  • At 0% Throttle, the craft will hover in place, regardless of orientation.

  • The Turbo Boost works best below 10,000 feet, and can push the ship to over 34 times the speed of sound.

  • In order to lower the Landing Legs, you must:

    1. be travelling below 15 m/s
    2. be below 25 Meters above the ground
    3. be above sea level (this ship still works under water)
    4. have your Landing Gear Extended
  • The laser has a minimum range of 0.7 miles, and only fires if it has a target.

  • The shields act like ablative armor, and have 10 times the health of the hull.
