AAB 011A 'Sturgeon'

The 011A is the first non-prototype plane to use the Sturgeon platform. This is an old chassis, first seeing use in the late 30s to early 40s. This airframe specifically sees use as a light bomber.

The original sturgeon is quick and tuned for very fast lineups on bombing runs. It is crewed by 3 airmen, 2 in cockpit, one in the lower fuselage for bomb controls. Sturgeon can carry a bit more in even this configuration but this is the base armament provided when shipped out from AAB foundries.

Fast, strong, and iconic, the Sturgeon earned its stay in the skies during the Pytic wars. Of note are the at the time very advanced rocket pods installed even on naked frames. While not shown here, they were remarkable in that they had around 3 salvos each stored within the plane. Using admittedly unreliable pneumatic systems the rockets would be reloaded after each salvo completed. This technology made the flyer one of the first employed RocketBombers in the Arcanix Airforce.
