Greglandian akagi at Yeager airforce base

Total produced: 256 (56 for the Navy and 200 for the airforce)

Backstory

In 1986, the Greglandian Royal airforce's aircraft were getting old. Their primary fighter aircraft at the time, the Pegasus 60 were beginning to retire, and they need a replacement fast. Also During that time the MB-7 were started to rolled out of the assembly lines . But their numbers were quite small at the time.

So the solution was to import other nations fighter aircraft. The Poyosakai company seen an opurtinity in the Greglandian fighter aircraft vacumm and offer the Greglandian goverment a 50% Discount of 3 of their newest MRF.27. The Greglandian government agreed and in July 1986 the first MRF.27 Begin to undergoing test in the Yeager airforce base.

But sadly at the 4th day of test flight. The aircraft crashed. While touching down on the runway. The crew were badly injured and rushed into a military hospital. After examining the wreckage the investigators discovered a fatal flaw.

The cause of the crash was the bulge at the tip of the landing gear. While landing, the bulge collided first with the runway causing the front landing gear to snap, and flipped the aircraft.

The subsequent disaster lead to a cover-up of the incident. The Greglandian ministry of defense politely ask the fabellan government to license the aircraft to be made in gregland factories, and their own modifications. The Poyosakai company gave a copy of the MRF27 to be modified. Resulting in a variant called the MRF27-X with default simpleplanes landing gear.

A total of 256 planes produced. And still serving in the GRAF. The MRF27-X would later inspire the upcoming [TOP SEKRET]
