BM-3mod.3 Cavalier-BM

2,340 MoHoJIiT  yesterday

(holy wall of text. u can skip it)

INFO
Making it's debut in 1980s and taking part in some peacemaking missions, BM-3 quickly became main staple of its army and a favourite between tank crews. Starting from BM-3mod.0 and over the course of the years BM-3 got upgraded to being the most versatile, moderately priced and easily produced tank by the 2000s
Current version, BM-3mod.3, has evolved to the modern battlefield conditions and still packs some punch against whatever enemy throws at it

ARMAMENTS
- 1× 120mm L/65 smoothbore cannon
- 1× 20mm АГ-20/2 anti-drone and anti-infantry cannon (AC-20 variant)

FEATURES
- Realistic sight
- Semi-realistic interior
- Semi-realistic suspension and recoil
- Auto-targetting autocannon turret
- Flock-M electro-optical APS (not working)
- Super cool armor
- Radar for autocannon turret
- Openable Hatches
- Smoke Grenades

ACTIVATION GROUPS
-- AG1 - Battle Mode
-- AG2 - Engine Start
-- AG3 - Autocannon
-- AG4 - ×
-- AG5 - ×
-- AG6 - ×
-- AG7 - ×

CONTROLS
Moving:
• Yaw for turning
• Trim for moving
Turret:
• Gun elevation: W,S, Gun sight
• Turret traverse: A,D, VTOL, Gun sight

KNOWN PROBLEMS
- this IS NOT LOW END FRIENDLY I WARN YOU
- autoturret only tracks targets correctly when the main turret is not turned (deactivate AG1)
- suspension might do a tad bit of tomfoolery
- unrealistic mass cuz of how dumb the wheels and springs work

WORK PROGRESS

stupid fuselage got the square hitbox and i couldn't make custom wheels

TOTally USELESS COMMENTARY

@tetozz took me five years to find this out. It really helps with making custom tank tracks without mods.

    @MoHoJIiT This is absolutely beautiful.
    .
To fix the problem about the square hitboxes of fuselages, simply add a setting to the part using xml. Name this convexMesh and set it to true.
    .
    Hope this helps.
