INFO
Making it's debut in 1980s and taking part in some peacemaking missions, BM-3 quickly became main staple of its army and a favourite between tank crews. Starting from BM-3mod.0 and over the course of the years BM-3 got upgraded to being the most versatile, moderately priced and easily produced tank by the 2000s
Current version, BM-3mod.3, has evolved to the modern battlefield conditions and still packs some punch against whatever enemy throws at it

WORK PROGRESS

stupid fuselage got the square hitbox and i couldn't make custom wheels

TOTally USELESS COMMENTARY
Ive spent a sh8ton of time on this project, didn't model a couple things because the part count started to become too much for me. I really luv how this turned out, it is my favourite build on the entire platform

@ManManTheWeaponsMan I mean.. both looks plausible to be honest
@ManManTheWeaponsMan its no big deal, thanks for clarification
@ManManTheWeaponsMan
Ohh
It's alright my little Reese's cup
@TheRLAF @MoHoJIiT @tetozz I am terribly sorry to you all, I said the code incorrectly. Instead, add the setting
colliderand set the value toConvexMesh. Sorry for the misinformation..
Attached is a link to a post demonstrating this: link
@MoHoJIiT
Glad to see it doesn't ruin your spirit :D
@ManManTheWeaponsMan
It didn't work when I tried it?
@TheRLAF By adding those values to the fuselage block, you are able to alter the hitbox to take the shape of the actual fuselage, rather than just the default square hitbox. Complications with this were mentioned in the craft description.
@TheRLAF i see now
So sad that sheit goes like this . I won't stop posting tho
@MoHoJIiT
That's usually how sh8 goes on here
That's actually a really big grief with the people on this website
They can't take SH8 seriously
Like sometimes it's fine
But god does it piss me off
@ManManTheWeaponsMan
What?
Wow, shitpost got more ups than the project i spent nerly 20 days on
@MoHoJIiT No problem!
@ManManTheWeaponsMan thanks man, this knowledge is really useful for me
@tetozz took me five years to find this out. It really helps with making custom tank tracks without mods.
@ManManTheWeaponsMan That's something new i have learned today
@MoHoJIiT This is absolutely beautiful.
.
To fix the problem about the square hitboxes of fuselages, simply add a setting to the part using xml. Name this
convexMeshand set it totrue..
Hope this helps.
