The T79 is a US Cold War-era MBT designed to counter soviet threats, the tank itself has a unmanned oscillating turret and it can fire 105mm gun with a huge recoil force, the large recoil force can overpenetrate every soviet T-72B3, T-80BVM, T-80U, and T-90MS by 5,976mm of armor penetration but such a huge recoil force come with a disadvantages, the tank can flip, reverse or foward, in the battle scenario, the tank can easily withstand the soviet 125mm cannon because of that, the T79 have a NATO STANAG 4569 Level 20 which states that the armor can stop any 120mm or 125mm cannon, the tank never got into a mass production stage, General Dynamics only produced 54 tanks in 1975
