Echo VTOL-- VTOL Contest Entry

Auto Credit Based on bspboy's VTOL CONTEST!!!

Lore: PE engineers found that often, while in urban areas, an aircraft capable of vertical takeoff and speed higher than that of a helicopter was needed to effectivley respond to TAPE assults.
Ok, that's all I could come up with. While experimenting with new cockpit design techniques, as well as old cliping techniques, I made this thing. It'll take off either in VTOL mode or normaly. For normal takeoff, just throttle up and take off as you would a normal plane. For VTOL, move the VTOL slider all the way down (or equivilent input) and wait for it to ballance. Throttle up, and once you rise up enough, push VTOL back to neutral to begin normal flight. This is the first VTOL I've ever built, and it works nicely.

@Static This isn't a true VTOL. It is pretty much impossible to land vertically. It could be VTOCL (conventional landing) or VTOSL. (short landing)

@bspboy Before takeoff? Yeah, I know that, it's to limit points of contact... anyways, thanks for the feedback. Always appreciated.

Definitely better than what I could do. But it hits the ground when you rotate. Try bigger gear. And a bit more maneuverable. But otherwise, it looks great.

@jacobcrowson Thank you! Yes, the whole plane is mine, built from the ground (or, as it may be, cockpit) up. I appreciate your feedback!
