Main description
The Medium Tank Mk. IV "Jaskolka" is a successor variant of the Medium Tank Mk.III, which had a new turret with better protection alongside an improved 75mm cannon. The tank first came when a design requirement to improve the Medium Tank Mk.III, the Polska Kompania Pancerna (or Polish Tank Company) has came up with a design proposal, it was accepted and after minor changes to the design, it has come to the prototype stages to be tested. Tests revealed that the turret armor had significantly improved and could ricochet shells fired from the equivalent of a Panther and a Tiger 1. Although the machine gun in the hull was removed to compensate for more ammo shells and to reduce weight, a machine gun was placed on the commander's cupola. An improvement would also be on the driver port, being placed in the front and significantly uparmored to make less of a weakspot. After tests were completed, the tank was sent to the production stage in 1943-44, and faced combat. Combat record of the tank would prove to be good, as it was deemed formidable against the rising force of German forces invading Poland. Although production numbers were low due to the pressure of the germans, about an estimate of 80 to 145 units were built. Unfortunatly many of these tanks would be scrapped after WW2 ended, and not much record is known about their production numbers. But a few Medium Tank Mk.IVs still survive to this day, an example being "85".

@Zero0Two2 panther is loosely based on T-34 so still checks out
@dekanii it's supposed to look similar to a T-34-85 or an IS-2 but you have a point
