The Il-62 that you are downloading now was produced in 1973 at the Ilyushin Aviation Complex. It was used by the Leningrad Air Detachment of Aeroflot. After the collapse of the USSR, an unprecedented case happened. The plane, in honor of the thawing of the hostility between the West and the East, as well as several others from the air squadron, were transferred to the West. Specifically, the Il-62 was transferred to Air Canada, in which it served until 2010. It was stored in a hangar at Resolute Bay Airport (Nunavut)
