-Good flight characteristics

Controls
-VTOL: Rear gun elevation

Designed in 1942 by Dornier, the Do-717 "Seedrache (Sea Dragon)" was meant to serve as a VIP airliner. It had a passenger capacity of 40 people, and if converted into a cargo aircraft, around 10 tons of cargo. For defense, it had a teardrop-style turret with twin-mount machine guns (like in the Heinkel He-111 series). A half-size mockup was finished in 1944, but by then the funding had been diverted to other projects, and the Do-717 faded into oblivion.
