ABOUT THIS PLANE:
The fourth build of this series is the PR-3I. It is the Glider version of the PR-3Y with its landing gears, engines, and fuel stripped to save weight and reduce drag as much as possible. The airframe was surprisingly aerodynamic at the cost of the landing gears. It is the lightest aircraft of the series.
AIRCRAFT DESCRIPTION:
A small glider sporting an unconventional glider design and the glider version of the PR-3Y. It was stripped of all the things that would create drag and weight. To compensate for the landing gear, its underbody and wingtips were structurally enhanced to absorb landings and be easily replaceable if necessary.
