This is a jet powered interceptor with the ability to drop its landing gear after takeoff (press 1) and then land using skids. I inadvertently created an effective landing gear design, as it tends to "jump" at high speeds (you'll see what I mean). I would recommend ejecting the gear after the second jump. When landing, I would suggest coming in very slowly on a flat surface, unless you just want to explode. (It is also a paint in the butt to land.) Enjoy!
