you can use a air brake to limit the speed
it will take time but it will get there
i fixed your plane i turns out all you need is to set the thrust of the small eng to 1 not 10

i tried to fix you craft i think you need to set the eng force to 5 set the input to 0.4 from 1

@Mistersmonk the smallest one is the one that produces the crazy thrust above 30k feet
It actually visible from the back if you look closely enough
the engine is what you need to adjust
you can set the in put controller 0.4~ i slows the acceleration and makes is sound deeper but you need to lower the engine thrust and it lets you reach a certain speed sort of
