As early as 1945, the Kriegsmarine was in dire need of a new standard fighter plane capable of taking off from the KMS Graf Zepplin, and the recently launched KMS Karl Bülow. While the Ju 87 C and Fiesler 167 were excellent aircraft for the early Graf Zepplin, by the time the KMS Karl Bülow was launched, with it's larger deck and hangers, it was requested that one of the newer jet craft be converted into a naval fighter.
After a decade of constant redesigning by Arado of existing jet powered aircraft, it was discovered that when two of BMW's 109-003 BMW 003 turbojets are underslung the main wings of the Ar 217 C-5, it was capable of taking off from the KMS Karl Bülow with no assistance.
Although the Ar 217 C-5 could takeoff from the deck, it was deemed to just barely. After a month, it was decided Boron was to be added into the fuel, increasing the power output at the cost of engine reliability long-term.
After many more tests in the Atlantic, it was decided that the outrigger engines (109-003 BMW 003) would have Independent fuel tanks with the Boron additive, while the 109-011 HeS 011 would not.

As 1955 rolled along, trials of the newly christened Ar 217 C-6H was deemed ready for mass production as the primary naval figther jet for the Kriegsmarine, seeing service come October on the KMS Karl Bülow, and a modified version on the KMS Graf Zepplin. The primary complaint of this version was the space it took up inside the carriers due to it's wings being unable to fold up, which wasen't alleviated until the C-6I variant.

The Arado 217 C-6H carries five cannons of various caliber.
Two MG FF 20mms are found in the wing roots, while two MK 108 30mm autocannons are in the nose. The third nose cannon is a Mk 103 30mm autocannon.
With these cannons, the 217 C-6H have a large volumn of fire with large caliber cannons.

Finally, that build I've been teasing for months that's been in an almost complete state!
Well, here it is, in all it's RLM Cream colors for some reason.
I promise, it actually looks good when flying
There's no special controls to it, so you can just fly off the USS Beast carrier deck instantly (if you have it, cause unfortunately the wingspan is too much for the USS Tiny)

I would, if not for one of the reasons of the 109-018 being cancelled by the development of the 109-003
Not saying I won't or anything, but a good number of engines in design were cut due to the 109-003
