A somewhat tweaked update on the Aquilone. While it was originally balanced to not be a complete upgrade over the CIR fighters, their longer range has made this moot in hindsight. All that's been done is simple: removed the upper intake and tweaked the shape of the lower one to improve performance without fully reverting to the unreleased version's ludicrous capabilities.

The Aquilone (Kite) is a Tyrrhenian interceptor, and the most notable fighter made in the broader Free Network outside of the CIR. Made to counter fast bombers, both CIR aircraft in war games and, much more importantly, Padanian raiders; the Aquilone is both a fast flyer and climber. While it carries three 18 or 20 mm cannons in the wing roots and nose, it is fully capable of replacing the last one with a radar set. All this, however, comes at the slight cost of being a short-ranged aircraft compared to those made in the CIR.
