The Hauler Class was a responce for a requirement for a small assault transport ship that could drop form orbit or from hyperspace to land on a variety of planet types including water worlds. To take off, Slowly VTOL up to light the lift engines and wait until the ship lifts off. Once airborne, retract the landing skids and the wings will drop, then slowly bring in the main engines by throttling up. You can then disengage the lift engines by VTOL down again. Group 2 enables thrust vectoring. Note, a few clicks of up trim is required for perfect wing borne flight. On water, use the main engines at low power and steer with Yaw. Take off from water is the same as from land.
