my first stealth fighter. Missiles wont track it properly and AI has a hard time getting a lock.
Also makes Ai shoot guns in the wrong place. all Controls are in - game.

The F-114 “Manta” Is a multirole stealth fighter, and one of the first of its kind. The Jet traces its origins to the top secret RSF (Rapid Strike Fighter) program. When it entered service in the 1980s it was on the cutting edge of low observable technology, using carefully shaped surfaces and special coatings to reduce radar returns.
Its blocky, angular design was a byproduct of the computing limitations of its era. “We did not know how to analyze a curved stealthy shape in those days. The software wasn't sophisticated enough, and we didn't have the computational capacity we needed.”

Designed to slip past enemy air defenses at low level, the Manta would conduct a self-escorted strike, using its twin radars to scan the sky for enemies. The dual radars also afforded it a primitive “track while scan” functionality, with one radar tracking targets, and the other searching for threats.

Once arriving at its target, the Manta would deploy the latest precision munitions. To facilitate this payload, the center or the aircraft housed large, deep weapon bay, in order to carry a variety of weapons.

While revolutionary for its time, by the 90s, the Manta’s weapons and avionics were showing their age, and it was clear an upgrade would be required . . .
