After the success of the PAK-FA Program, the United States started the HMI (Highly Maneuverable Interceptor) program in order to combat the Russian supermaneuverable fighter. Equipped with Three-Axis Thrust Vectoring nozzles (AG1), this was the US Response. Side Note: Unstable with thrust vectoring nozzles on. this is intended in order to achieve the supermaneuverability, leaving flyability up to the skill of the pilot.
