A long-range drone, based on a Ukrainian-made Aeroprakt A-22 sports plane, was most likely used to attack the OMON base in the Chechen capital Grozny on December 15. It was loaded with explosives and flew about a thousand kilometers to its target. This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to Forbes .According to the American business magazine, the strike on the special forces base in Grozny on Sunday morning was the latest in a series of attacks using Aeroprakt A-22s, which the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has been "modifying into unilateral strike drones" since the beginning of this year. With a range of up to 1,300 km with an additional fuel tank in addition to remote guidance systems and explosive payloads, the $90,000 A-22 drone aircraft have already struck, among other things, a drone factory, a missile research center, and a naval base with ships, Forbes writes.
