The ES-84U Overwatch is a twin-seater aircraft equipped with two jet engines. It is a slight modernization of the ES-84, replacing many of its analog components with electronic readouts, however the technology difference is not as significant as between the ES-229 models. The ES-84U is dedicated to surveillance and gaining intelligence, being why it is unarmed yet equipped with countermeasures.
