I wanted it to work like it doesn irl, but maybe we can use the VTOL nozzles while still having afterburners.

Are you particularly good with vtols that operate like the Yak-141 and the F-35?
If you are maybe you could set up the main vtol system. I’ve tried before, but I couldn’t get it to balance very well. It was an tilting engine at the back and an engine point pointing down at the front to mimic how it works with real aircraft.
