The (Fictional) F/A 7 Stinger was designed in the 1960s by the US Air Force in result to the Vietnam Wars need for close air support from a long distance quickly. Being able to take off and land at Okinawa, the Stinger would run long distance operations over Cambodia at supersonic speeds carrying a maximum amount of 6,000 pounds of weapons or fuel. Due to the large bombs and fuel tank hanging down, landing was difficult, causing many incidents after the plane would crash, creating large explosions from its payload, and ending the planes service.
