A suggested collaboration build together with AntonWings' Fiat G.55 and Tonnkatu's Reggiane Re.2005 and My Macchi C.205V where we build the Italian Serie 5 Aircrafts, inspired from Gaijin Entertainment's Italian Stellar Trio.

History

The Macchi C.205 was a straight up improved Macchi C.202 Folgore that had its engine ramped up from the Italian built DB 601 Engine, up to the DB 605 that powered the German Bf 109 G series. Its armament also went from the Folgore's 2x 12.7mm and 2x7.7mm BREDA-SAFAT Machin guns. Up to 2x12.7mm BREDA-SAFAT and now the with 2x20mm MG151/20 Cannons with the Veltro. It competed with the Re.2005 and G.55 in the Serie 5 of proposed Aircrafts for the Italian Air Force and saw alot of use, but mostly from germany's side.

This collaboration was quite fun and inspiring, initially conceived 2-3 months ago, but i got busy with other things that it had to be postponed.

When tonnkatu shared me the news of AntonWings finally having a social media account, that was when we started this program. The Italian Serie 5 aircrafts.

Just like what the Regianne, Macchi and Fiat did, we shared ideas for us to "accurately" build the dimensions of the aircrafts. Though mine is not rhe best and had to save part cost, but nonetheless, it was a satisfying build and collaborative work with both of them. :D
