The Carid Design No. 235, is a civilian prototype of what would be turned the as Kreideprinz (Durin) XPW-5 design type. First flown in 1922 using a 300 hp. , 2000 rpm Hispano Suiza engine, the aircraft became known for its reliability, and as a basis of Ark's early fighter design doctrine (staggered sesquiplanes).

Lore

Calls for an indigenous general purpose aircraft was initiated in 1920, which this type entered service. The finalized design was a staggered sesquiplane powered by a surplus 300 horsepower Hispano-Suiza engine and a scimitar propeller built by the Sal Terrae firm.
