The M2 Ridgway is a third-generation American main battle tank named after General Matthew B. Ridgway and designed by Quora Tech Land Systems. Designed as a highly mobile main-battle tank for modern armored ground warfare, the M2 is well armed and heavily armored.
The Ridgways introduced several notable and innovative features such as a built in Composite armors and Sloped Turret, sophisticated Chobham composite armor, a computer fire control system, separate ammunition storage in a blow-out compartment along with NBC+ protection for crew safety, and IFF system. While the initial models of the M2 were armed with a Rheinmetall Rh-120, later variants feature a 2A83 152mm Gun for increased firepower.
