The Type-B is an undertype steam lorry built for speed and shorter distances, these lorries were built from 1923 to 1934 and we're slightly cheaper the the Type-A's, and offered a better view, an less obstruction for the driver, the wider tires also helped the issue of rolling that the Type-A's had, which is why the Type-B was much more common, you could've find these very commonly in the UK in the 1930's along with Foden and Sentinel Lorries.
