Overview

The Large Heavy Duty Truck 9 (LHD-T9), or simply known as the Atlas, is a Lykanian 12-wheeled, heavy duty logistics and transport platform designed by Drakon Earth. Built to endure the harshest terrain and combat zones, the Atlas combines brute strength with modular adaptability. Its reinforced composite frame and all-wheel independent suspension allow it to haul extreme payloads—ranging from armored vehicles and artillery systems to mobile radar arrays—with unmatched stability and reliability.

Background and Development

The LDH-T9 Atlas was conceived in 2014 under the Lykanian Defense Forces’ Ground Modernization Program, launched to replace the aging Oshkosh M1070 Heavy Equipment Transporter fleet that had been in service since the late 1980s. While the M1070 had proven itself as a reliable heavy hauler across decades of conflicts, it struggled to meet the demands of Lykania’s increasingly expeditionary and high-tech ground forces. To bridge this capability gap, Drakon Earth, a subdivision of Drakon Dynamics, was contracted to develop a modern successor emphasizing modularity, autonomy, and survivability. After five years of rigorous testing in both arctic and desert conditions, the LDH-T9 entered frontline service in 2019, offering vastly improved off-road performance, payload capacity, and onboard systems integration. Since then, the LDH-T9 has also been converted into transport, artillery, and air defense modes.

Operational History

Entering service in mid-2019, Atlas trucks first saw use during the Cascadian Uprising, serving as the backbone of Lykanian ground operations. A few artillery variants were tested during this time. In 2024, Atlas trucks assisted rescue efforts following Superstorm Helena, transporting rescue volunteers and supplies into the heavily battered region. During the Nightfall Wars, Atlas artillery and air defense platforms played a major role during the Battle of Siana. While Lykania did lose the cities of Torfajokull, San Jose, and Cartago, the Atlas once again supported the offensives under Operation November Ajax, which resulted in the reclaiming of all Lykanian territory

Gameplay

Alright, I'm back with something new. Anyone play Cyberpunk 2077? This thing is basically just the Kaukaz Bratsk U4020 from Cyberpunk. I wanted to make a truck for my fictional military, and I really loved the look of the U4020. It's not an exact 1:1 replica, since I didn't have good reference photos for certain parts of the truck. I even tried going into the game itself, but the only accessible trucks I could find were at the Aldecaldo camp and Panam and her crew have those things kitted out, they were essentially a completely different thing lol. Anyways, I feel like I did a good job with it. Let me know what y'all think. There's not much to it, Ag.1 for lights. Alright, enjoy.
