ABOUT EP-TAO

It was built with the serial number 53597 at the Long Beach facility in the United States and made its first flight in late 1998. On 12/15/1998 with the registration N9627R, it was purchased by the American company Trans World Airlines (TWA). With the dissolution of the company in 2001, the aircraft was transferred to American Airlines with the same registration until it was decommissioned on 05/08/2015 and parked at Roswell Airport, New Mexico.

In February 2017, the Ukrainian company Bukovyna bought this MD and changed its register to UR-CPX. On 02/25/2017, Ata Airlines leased this plane and brought it into the country. The aircraft was active in the fleet of this company until July 2017, until it was grounded for seven months from July 2017 to complete the acquisition preparations, and then on March 23 of next year, while receiving the Iranian EP-TAO register, it restarted its flights. ?
