The Dakara Class destroyer does have a small backstory. The name is based off of well, a show from 1994, Stargate SG1. (GO WATCH IT ON NETFLIX! rated M by netflix too.) Anyway, The story on why it was built: The Dakara class destroyers were built for one sole purpose: distract the enemy by making it think thats the only force fighting it, and let the main force hit it from behind, when the ships are busy fighting the destroyers. With a 4x4 turret layout and MkIIIV 5" guns, the ship can put up a significant fight. The ship was actually built from a poorer country, similar to one of the African country's, but a bit richer and able to support a military. The exact country is Henglen, a country with a small military. The country partnered up with Simple Planes, to fight the revolution that took place in Olo, the now Anti Simple Planes people go to war with Henglen and SP. Henglen recieved $1.6 billion as financial aid to build up their navy, which was pulverised in the previous war. Henglen then decided to start off small, with destroyers. Which couldn't have torpedoes since SP was using them all. For now though, The ASP party took over more territory, and now threatens the two countrys.
