In 1987 , Astranesian Air & Space Industries revealed a mock up of their latest project in the 1987 Astranesian Air & Space Convention , designated Prototype 6174 , the plane has a very distinctive look , with 4 engines and forward swept wings with canard , the design at the time were still studied , and in 1989 the first flying prototype is already finished , the first maiden flight didnt go as intended , when the plane is at transonic speed , the wings were cluttering very fast , and the maiden flight was later ended and the plane goes on a 1-year improvement program to fix all the issue in the plane
