HSC Jundroo Express

10.7k SajabAerospace  4.5 years ago

Description

The Jundroo Express is a high speed catamaran ferry operated by the Jundroo Line Shipping Company. The Jundroo Express is smaller and has less carrying capacity than larger vessels such as the Jundroo Titan but more than makes up for this with a top speed in excess of 40 knots. Its superior speed allows the Jundroo Express to complete the crossing from Krakabloa to Wright Island in only 45 minutes.

Controls

Use the Throttle and Brake to control movement ahead and astern.

Use the Roll control for sideways movement.

Use the Yaw control to turn left and right.

The vehicle ramp deploys in two stages. Activate Group 1 to lower the first stage and group 2 for the second stage. No use of the VTOL or Trim sliders is required.

The Jundroo Express has better acceleration than the Jundroo Titan but its not ballistic.

For some reason this vessel has a tendency to slowly turn to the right whilst underway. This happens very slowly but on longer voyages some minor course adjustments may be neccesary en route.

@TheFantasticTyphoon Thanks for your suggestion. I'll start working on a brand new Ro-Pax ferry design tomorrow. The MV Wright Island has over 700 parts making it difficult to work with. The updated construction technique I'm currently using allows me to cut that figure in half whilst maintaining a high standard of quality.

Your ferries are great! I especially like the MV Wright Island, it reminds me of the IOW ferries that used to take me on holiday. You should consider re-mastering it.
