Used late in the clone wars, the predeccessor to the X-Wing. Very different from most of my Star Wars builds in that it flies pretty well. Enjoy!

Not bad. the handling is a little tricky for newcomers especially at very high altitudes.

Good model, but the flaps for your pitch response are backward.much more agile after inverting the wing flap direction

@CanofBeans I also find it interestinbg that the X-wing was supposssed to be the sucesor of the tie fighter but the designers defected and gave the plans to the rebbelion

@AeroEngineering I think that the original trilogy X-Wing is an old old fighter, and was the only fighter that the rebels could afford/ scrounge up. Therefore it would have several spacecraft designed after it. Y'know a "if it ain't broke don't fix it" mentality.

@cameron24 no. It is neither. It is a three man fighter mainly used for blowing vulture droids out of space.

Oh fun, can't wait to try it, then try to build my own haha. @AeroEngineering I'm inspired by Poe's in the movie.

@OminousGloom oh. If you look it up on Wookiepedia, unless it's been changed, the X-Wing came first. Good point l, however.

Maybe in the real world, but the ARC-170 came in the prequel trilogy, which was before the x-wings. @AeroEngineering

Just saying but last time I checked it was based off of the X-Wing, not the other way around
