The TV-51 was Tax's primary 4th generation aircraft for the entirety of DWW3, and is still instrumental to the ETAF(East Tax Air Force) and WTAF(West Tax Air Force). Early in the war, the TV-51 was majorly feared by allies, as its S.A.R.H. B-555 missiles could reach as far as 100km(in the early days of the war), and very few aircraft could get close enough without being locked (there are a few instances of M-38s notching the radar with advanced maneuvers, but that was a minority). Though, things majorly changed with the introduction of the M-40, which was not only an effective Multirole stealth fighter, but also an almost perfect counter to the TV-51, as it can get close, and force the TV-51into close range combat, which it's not effective at. The 2 aircraft continually clashed throughout the later half of the war, with odds in the Mamba's favour. The TV-51 also occasionally served as a fighter bomber in the final stages of the war.
