Sorry guys who downloaded b4 I messed up the screenshots

WHATEVER YOU DO DO NOT THINK YOUR CLEVER AND TALK ABOUT THIS PLANE WITH YOUR FRENDS, CAUSE WHAT IM ABOUT TO SAY IS ABSOLUTE 'bollocks'
You may skip the fake history for the cool stuff :)

In the early 1950s the early Gnome Fighter and Demon fighter bomber became outclassed, leading to their scrapping in 1951 at jundroo harbour, later the metal was used to create parts of the USS tiny, meanwhile the concept of jet fighters changed in this period from first generation fighters of the late 1940s-1951 like the Gnome,Demon,Sabre,Mig-15, and BAF's numerous outstanding designs to the second generation of fighters, where the fighter was generally split into two groups, the fighter bomber, a versatile plane capable of bombing and pulling off immense dogfighting turns and rolls, and the intercepter, that was designed specifically for intercepting nuclear bombers sent by the imperial colonel, and protecting jundroo soil, these planes were not as agile as the previous "fighter" type that needed ultra agility, but they were fast and had amazing climb rates, they also only used missiles in combat, in this generation infrared missile guidance systems were developed for the first time, and were first used on an XVI plane in 1954,

In this time Jundroo was under immidiet threat of an unprovoked attack by TheOldColonel's Imperial Air Force, so a design specification was given and XVI came up with this plane, the Peregrine Falcon, it was a semi delta winged or Triangular winged aircraft powered by three of the best Blasto engines, it had a primitive radar and even a way to Refuel in the air!
It was also one of the first jundroo planes to successfully use a semi lifting body or air cutting body, A young engineer DarkLithium designed the engines and front intakes, you should thank him for making this plane supersonic,

It was first used with the unssucessful XVImunitions 8 barrel rocket pods
But after seeing a document from WW2 about Focke wolf 190's having mortars under each wing to effectively do damage to a cluster of bombers with shrapnel, a young engineer named Earl Parisian bob 'o Crit an idea, he took a large calibre mortar and made it air tight except four gas escape holes in the rear, he then put the projectile on the front of the effective barrel, and secured it with a pneumatic latch operated from the cockpit, his design had faults but generally worked, he tested with new ends on the barrel until he came up with the XVImunitions AB.0300,6 Arial mortar, it worked only when the pane was moving, the latch was released the projectile slid to the rear of the mortar due to a change in air pressure also issued from the cockpit using a vacuum compressor in each wing, as the projectile struc the rear pin of the mortar the explosive primed and rocket ignited sending the projectile miles away,

It also used the air to air version of the 50mm cannon used on the demon, and two 5 barrel 50 shot rocket pods as well as the shortened lighter version of the classsic javelin!

HISTORIC ARMAMENT
5 air to air mortars
2 short javelins
2 5 barrel 50 shot rocket pods
1 50mm cannon in nose

FOR THOSE WHO SKIPPED

Ok this is an interceptor and be warned, all my interceptors are designed to fly like controllable piloted ballistic missile gunships, they all go up like that / And become more stable the faster and higher they go, so if you want to stay level at low altitude don't use the afterburner :)

1- two XVI minijavlins (a smaller faster but less destructive javelin fragmentation anti aircraft missile)
2- far left mortar (fire into momber formations of onto ground targets, the activation also detaches the mortar casing)
3-far right mortar
4- left mortar
5- right mortar
6- centre mortar

I'd say heavy fighter, like the Me110 but with an English electric lightning-like climb rate, anything that can get to 20,000ft in less than a minuet I'd call an interceptor tho, so maby heavy interceptor @VikDesigns

Gonna credit me for the intake, modded engines, and removal of the overlapping nose cones . Awesome paint job. Good job with the back story for the mortar.
