I started out wanting to build something similar to a typhoon, ie Delta wing and canards for pitch control. Unfortunately i couldnt find a configuration that was stable without adding a more traditional empennage on the rear of the aircraft. What i ended up with was a jet that looked like the love child of an F4 and a Typhoon. It can get a bit pitchy if you try to maneuver too dynamically at slow speeds, however, at "tactical" airspeeds it is very easy to maneuver. dont expect to run the trench at full throttle, it easily exceeds 700mph, which doesnt allow for tight corning, but at more reasonable speeds you can yank and bank through the entire trench with ease.
