The Sukhoi Superjet 100 (English: Sukhoi Superjet 100, referred to as SSJ100) is a regional airliner designed and manufactured by the Sukhoi Aviation Group, a subsidiary of Russia's United Airlines Manufacturing Company. In order to revive Russia's aviation manufacturing industry, the aircraft was developed in 2000 and received funding from the United States and France. The first prototype was unveiled on September 26, 2007. The first flight was completed in 2008. On April 19, 2011, the first mass-produced Sukhoi 100 was delivered to Armavia.
