The Halivard Raven G-5 is an air race trainer for intermediate racers. It is somewhat twitchy but easy to fly. Care is needed during maneuvers such as rolls and sharp turns. The G-5 is slow and heavy compared to professional race planes but gives newer pilots a feel for more unstable aircraft. The Raven is distinguishable from most other race trainers due to its clipped wingtips, jagged features, and enormous exhaust pipe. Press 1 to activate the ailerons and elevators.
