.
Scrounging food and water, he immediately got to work on a dirigable to carry him to any near civilization. He would be slung underneath the balloon. He took the engine out of a bravo he found near the shed, and placed it on a double axis so he could steer by holding the engine, also warming his hands.
Around a week after he started building, the day was here. He worked quickly, filling the balloon and tying it down. He ate the last energy bar, set a canister of helium underneath the frame, and started the engine.
The flight was long and slow, the ship was heavy to handle and by the time he saw a town, he had frostbite on his face and arms. During landing he snapped the propeller and when he got off, the ship floated away never to be seen again.
