Ever since I downloaded the gear mod I assumed that this was possible, it works best with the highest physics settings. I don't know If anyone else has made one of these, mine may or may not be the first one. Regardless, it's pretty cool and it works and I plan on making a car that uses this. Throttle is to turn on the engine, start off with low thrust. Use trim to change gears; you'll have to eyeball it to make sure it catches but it's relatively easy. Vtol is the clutch, you may or may not need it depending on whether or not the gears catch when you use trim. If they don't, use VTOL to help align them. You may have to make fine adjustments using VTOL to make sure they catch. Shout out to the dude who made the gears mod, though it is kind of buggy, maybe if he sees this he will update the mod so it works better.

@Line thanks for the feedback. The gears mod only adds 5 parts and it actually took a considerable amount of work to rig them all together like this. And I'm not obligated to make one in vanilla, sorry for the disappointment.

Still do it in vanilla because who knows what the gear mod adds It could add a huge part that’s made of muiple parts of this is true you did no work and was insanely lazzzzy

This one freaks out on my computer even on high physics. It would be a lot better if it was a 3 speed. but i will see what i can do.

@nfsplatinum Yeah I actually had to use the fine tuner to make it bigger because they weren't working when they were small lol

@LimitedShelf568 I meant by using fine tuner. Select all of the parts, and use the scaling tool. I would try it myself, but I don't know how I would make proper wheels to attach to it.

@nfsplatinum Thanks man, making a small one is really difficult, but I'm working on it right now

That's really cool. Great job! Someone should use mods to make this tiny and put it in a car
