077H 'Serpent' Seaplane Prototype

Hi there!

Airfields are likely to be the number one priority target when a war breaks out. Krakabloa only really has one airport capable of operating jet-aircraft. As soon as that airstrip is destroyed, how could the Krakabloan air force still put up a fight?

One proposal made to the air force suggested the idea of creating an all-weather seaplane capable of ground attacking and limited air-to-air combat. Two prototype aircraft were built and tested to function as a proof of concept.

However, despite the great effort to make the plane all-weather capable, this proved impossible. The waters around Krakabloa can be rough, virtually grounding a potential seaplane squadron. Because of this severe limitation, the Krakabloan air force settled on the more expensive and complex 011H-MR 'Torenvalk II' VTOL Heavy Fighter.

I built this plane about a month ago. Eventhough I like to believe that, since then, my building skills have improved quite a bit. However, I just thought it would be nice to upload this anyway.

Features:

Weapons:

The inferno's. flared and miniguns are stored internally. Activate the combat mode of this airplane with Ag1.

With Ag6 you can activate the mobiltiy mode when you are landed, with pitch, yaw and brake controlls you can move the plane around like a boat.

(Like with all of my planes, there are also navigation lights. These are activated with Ag7.)

genius had the same thought of making an multi-purpose jet fighter with similar landing capabilities but never came up with a good design concept
