This is the de Havilland Vampire. This is a very cool aircraft with a very interesting history. First created on September 20, 1943, it was originally a British jet fighter. It was the first single engine jet fighter in the British fleet. The Vampire saw the bulk of its work during WWII and in the Middle East. Enjoy!
