    Instead of nuclear fusion and/or fission, we achieve nooklear incineration, where the explosion gets so hot and powerful the targets themselves start fusing. however those targets are not made of hydrogen and don't fuse very well, so the explosion radius is small. Guaranteed to sink your ships though.
