Description

The Mil Mi-14 is a Soviet shore-based amphibious anti-submarine helicopter derived from the earlier Mi-8, it differed from the Mi-8 in having a boat-like hull similar to the Sea King, allowing it to operate off the water, and a retractable four-point undercarriage, instead of the three-point tricycle undercarriage of the Mi-8, the helicopter was powered by two Klimov TV3-117MT turboshaft engines. A watertight weapons bay is fitted to the centreline of the fuselage allowing internal carriage of a single torpedo or eight depth charges, while a radome housing a search radar is fitted beneath the nose.

In this SimplePlanes version, well it's not shaped exactly like the Mi-14 but regardless it at least looked like it, it had a very bare bones cockpit with dials and gauges in the front dashboard only, there's a collective lever to the left of the pilot and a throttle lever to the right of the copilot, not sure if this was the correct positions of these functions though, it had an internal weapons bay carrying 8 depth charges, the depth charges automatically explodes 5 seconds after being deployed, this mechanism is based on this build by 99807, the build is fully amphibious and had a basic, dual-color camouflage, it is also capable of flying upside down just like my other Mi-8 build for some reason.

Depth Charge procedure

1. Suggested drop altitude : 75-25 meters (246-82ft)
2. Open weapons bay by activating AG2
3. Go down to the suggested altitude
4. Tap on the fire weapons button on mobile or press alt on PC, all the depth charges should deploy
5. Enjoy
