Fictional Plane

Date: August 23, 1945

The Nazis show no sign of giving up to the Allied Forces. With Japan on their knees, the Allies were certain the war would be over. But then all hell broke loose. Nazi Germany unveiled all of their secret weapons, ranging from supersonic jets to tanks that can take an army of Allied tanks on it's own. This surge in technology from Nazi Germany pushed back the Allied forces on both sides. The Allied forces needed to upgrade their technology, so they did. Boeing developed a bomber that can withstand hits and fly for days on end. With their new bulletproof gel-infused armor plating, even tank shells can't penetrate the armor in one shot. Armed to the teeth, with over 15 50. cals, the Mk 84 bomb, laser guided missiles, and more, there was nothing the B-45 couldn't do.

VTOL Up: Bomb bay doors
1: Bomb bay bombs first batch
2: Bomb bay bombs second batch
3: Laser guided missiles (not actual laser guided)
4: Mk 84 bombs

Credits to MaxTeoZ and Scriefers for the awesome bombs! If you plan to download, would you mind leaving a rating? I appreciate it!

@FPRed : okay, you're right. Look, for me there's nothing wrong with building a fantasy plane. But I strongly dislike unnessecarh accessories. A plane this size doesnt need six engines, for example. The tail is overcomplicated and judging by the location of the cupolas, the plane is bigger on the inside than on the outside. Also, the B-45 was an entirely different plane, the North American Tornado. A more logical name would have been (eg.) FP-17 Gigabomber (because its based on a B-17).

@Martijnproper How can I improve? Your criticism doesn't mean anything if you can't list the flaws.

Okay, it flies. Apart from that, it's not a really functional design.

Very cool, very original idea. I would work on the paint scheme though.
