Junkers Ju 87 A-1

60.8k Sergio666  1.4 years ago

Hello comrades, today I have decided to publish one of my favorite WW2 aircraft. For this occasion, I chose one of the first variants that took part in combat in the early years of the war, the A-1 variant.
This model entered production in 1937, and around 200 aircraft were built.
This model lacked Jericho's sirens, retractable landing gear, aerodynamic brakes or the characteristic dive bombing arm, as it was intended for a ground support and light bomber role.
I tried to make a somewhat realistic plane, within my limits, and here are some details:
I tried to adapt the speed to the real models, since the plane generally does not exceed 370mph.
The turn of the plane is somewhat slow, but the real model was not very agile either.
The engine is simply aesthetic, but I was inspired a bit by the original of this plane, the Jummo 210DA.
Sometimes, in aggressive maneuvers, the plane exploded, but I think it fixed the error.
I left the ignition system in the first gift, the buttons in order, then the two levers.
I hope you like it, comrades, greetings!
.

Thanks for your votes and comments. If I'm not mistaken, these were the first, another fixed landing gear was also built, with less fairing, and finally they used retractables, in the latest models.

@IAlsoBuildPlane It had two different landing gears in its time. I kinda like this one better though. But I get why you wouldn’t.
