The GAZ-TBR-16 (Allied code-name: Albatross) is a Andosnian Torpedo/Dive bomber of the Second Global War that had first flown in 1935. The Albatross was known as Andosnia's most reliable bomber, with a survival rate of 89% by the end of the war. Despite it's low speed and sub par maneuverability compared to other carrier based attacker aircraft, the TBR-16 had achieved one of the highest kill rates in the Second Global War with:
- 32 Naval kills
- 3 Aircraft Carriers sunk
- 322 Ground units destroyed
- 177 aircraft kills

Notable events

During the summer of 1943, an expected category 1 hurricane had made landfall during the Dieswenian seige of the city of Pervouyungri (Per-you-young-rhy), The attacking Dieswenian naval forces included the largest naval carriers of the Second Global War - the Gotthard Seppelt (Named after the first Kaiser to unite what is now Dieswen). Taking advantage of the storm and the temporarily disabled Super-carrier, Andosnia's highest scoring ace with a TBR-16 - Colonel Budnikov Rollan Romanovich and his bombardier 1st Lieutenant Kolupayev Victor (Vitya) Andreevich ignored direct orders to hold out the storm and return to Kisloninsk airbase, an act that would ultimately be the demise of the two, Colonel Romanovich battled against 80+ mph winds, badly damaging his Albatross in an attempt to reach and bomb the Gotthard Seppelt a feat that the plane managed to accomplish with Seven out of the Eight bombs hitting the Super-Carrier, causing irreparable damage to the Gotthard Seppelt. Both Colonel Romanovich and 1st Lieutenant Andreevich were lost at sea with the tail of the aircraft being recovered by Dieswenian forces shortly after the dissipation of the hurricane.
